Time to Invest In a Little Blog Marketing For Your Small Business

Perhaps you have noticed that advertising in the newspaper just does not net the results that it use to for your small business. Well, you are not alone, other companies have also noted this and they are moving more and more advertising dollars into Online Venues. In fact, in 2007 the Newspaper Industry watched a decrease in advertising revenue; the largest decrease in 50-years, even worse than after 9-11.

Print advertising fell 9.4% between 2006 and 2007. Still, it is hovering at about 40 Billion a year for now. But each year Internet Advertising is raking in more and more advertising dollars. Thus, isn’t it time you got a company communication blog? One, which will assist you in high placement in the search engines for the name of your city and the type of work you do or products that you sell?
The reality is that it probably is time that you put together a Blog Communication Strategy to stay in front of your customers, and perhaps let them realize that you are local, here to help and a real person. Someone who owns the business and a company with employees who live in the community and care; tell them that you want their business, that you give great customer service and how you give back to the very community that has provided you with so many years of success.
What am I saying here? Well, I am saying; do not end up like the newspaper companies with dwindling sales, and migrate some of those advertising and marketing dollars to online venues, such as a small business blog.
