Comment on High-Traffic Blogs
Go to the highest-traffic blogs in your niche and leave a long comment, with a link back to your website. You’d be surprised how many people read comments and click those links, trust me. This method is only successful if you make regular posts all over the place. Be sure to keep your comments only on related websites. Don’t just spam people’s blogs, but leave good, helpful comments.
Make a Myspace Profile
Establishing a name for website on Myspace is another great way to get instant traffic. With the fifth highest traffic ranking in the world, Myspace can bring your website tons and tons of people. You just have to learn how to get people to click through to your website. Dedicate a profile to your website or blog, and include links all over the profile. Get as many friends as you can, and people will start clicking through.

You’d be surprised how many big names in your industry will swap with your if you have something free to offer. They just want to help their visitors out too.
