Blogging – Why it’s a Must in This New Web 2.0 Internet
By Stanley Amazan
Web 2.0 is a great innovation for the online industry. It made possible great sites such as MySpace.com, Wikipedia.org, Amazon, and many more. It has greatly helped people around the world in communicating, organizing files and even setting up deals. Message boards and forums are also some of the services offered by the web 2.0.
To give you a background about web 2.0, well, it was created by Tim O’Reilly in October 2004. The main aim of it is to sum up new technology and applications in just a single tool… the World Wide Web.
There are a lot of things that one can do with a web 2.0 internet. You could access and customize sites like Facebook, Myspace, as well as use applications and software like Java, MySOL, and many more. Blogging is also one of the most popular things that people do with the web 2.0.
Blogs, for its simplest description, is a diary or a personal page. However, the topics on them are generally not as personal as those in the diaries. Their main aim is to connect with every surfer and convey ideas, feelings, promotions, and experiences of the blogger. If you are a blogger, you should be well aware that any topic could be used for your blog, topics which greatly fit your interests. However, you should not copy articles from other sites, if you do so, make sure that make the appropriate citations.
Since the time that blogs were introduced, they have actually caught the interest of people. In fact, in November 2004, about 32 million individuals in US or 27% of the web users are already starting to read blogs. And with this, it could be said that blogging made a great impact in the web 2.0 as well.
The Importance of Blogging and it is a Must in the Web 2.0
Blogging offers a lot of benefits not only with the blogger but also with the readers. First of all, blogging brings learning to people. Since blogs are compilation of one’s thoughts, insights and experiences, it is possible to learn something new from them. Some blogs are also made for information purposes; that’s why one could really get a lot from them.
Next is that blogging brings business. How? You could earn by searching for employers and sending them links to different blogs. This could be very effective especially if blogging is part of your routine. Your blogs could also earn revenues especially if they are always visited by people.
To sum up, blogging becomes a must to the web 2.0 because of the benefits it gives to people. Also, it is a way to earn money or be in business, as well as to communicate and get attached with other internet users. Blogging would give life to the web 2.0 and could make it more efficient, exciting and fun.
