How do you optimize your blog for greater traffic? I know the Internet is filled with how-to secrets. And with the barrage of information, how do you pick what’s right for you? First of all, what do you want to accomplish with your blog? Is it a means to communicate your passions and join a community of like minds? Or are you wanting to rake in the big bucks, in recompense for your sore finger tips?
There are many ‘blog’ websites that can help you create a high quality blog site. As myself I like Blogger.com and many rave about WordPress. They are very user friendly and you can create a fancy blog in no time.
Whatever your hobby or the passion you have for something, there are people out there that are just as passionate about the same thing. Ever heard of Mario Armando Lavanderia Jr? He goes by the pseudonym ‘Perez Hilton’ you know the celebrity blogger with the pink hair, huh, orange hair. I don’t know what color it is now, but I do know he wrote what he was passionate about. Did he optimize his content to increase traffic to his blog. I don’t know. But he sure chose a hot topic!
There is really no secret to optimization. But here’s a hint, content, content, content. Which I hope I accomplished in this article. Conveying what you want to say in a simple manner should always work. Stick to the subject and throw in some extras.

This makes you very visible to readers and increases your popularity. That’s why optimizing your content will create greater traffic.

RSS feeds are a very useful tool today. People can subscribe to your feed and receive updated information on your blog.
